Hi, I’m Maggie- holistic health coach and founder of Salt & Light Wellness. For eight years, I struggled with cystic acne. I obsessed over it, tried everything under the sun, and eventually found relief through Accutane. While it cleared my skin, it came with unexpected costs: I lost my period for six months, experienced significant hair loss, and - after a year- my acne returned.
It wasn’t until I was earning my bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and took a nutrition class that everything shifted for me. I began to understand that a health lifestyle impacts far more than just your weight or general wellbeing- it influences everything, including skin health, hormones, digestion, and energy levels.
That’s what inspired me to dive deeper into the world of nutrition and become a certified holistic health coach. Today, I work with women to help them better understand their bodies and take empowered, sustainable steps toward their health goals. My approach is compassionate, personalized, focused on real, actionable progress.
